AMS Privacy Policy

In short

We collect only what's needed to run your building's association: your account details, resident and flat records, and maintenance or financial transactions tied to your community.
We don't sell your data, and there are no ads or third-party trackers in this app.
Photos you take in the app — for a maintenance issue, a payment receipt, or your profile — are stored as part of your association's records, nowhere else.
Your data lives in your association's own private database, reachable only with your login and an encrypted connection.

Who runs this app

AMS is developed and operated by Santosh Dandoti. Each residential community (apartment association) that uses AMS has its own private space in the system, identified by an Apartment Code — one association's records are never mixed with another's.

Information we collect

Account information — your name, username, email address, and a securely hashed password, used to sign you in and reset access if needed.
Resident & property records — flat/unit details, contact information, and your role within the association (resident, committee member, or admin).
Financial & maintenance records — maintenance charges, payment history, transaction details, and any bank statement information your association's admin uploads for reconciliation.
Photos you choose to add — a profile picture, a photo attached to a maintenance issue you raise, or a payment/receipt image, captured with your device's camera or chosen from your gallery only when you take that action.

How we use it

Your information is used solely to operate the association's day-to-day management: authenticating you, showing you the right community's data, tracking maintenance requests and charges, and letting committee members and admins run the association. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not build behavioural profiles from it.

How it's stored and protected

Each association's data is kept in its own database, separate from every other association using AMS. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and access to your account is protected by a signed authentication token that expires after a short period of inactivity.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers. Your data is visible only to: your association's admins and committee members (to the extent their role requires), and the developer, for the purpose of operating and maintaining the service. AMS does not integrate any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

How long we keep it

Your information is retained for as long as your association actively uses AMS, so that maintenance and financial history stays accurate and auditable. If you'd like your personal data reviewed, corrected, or removed, contact us using the details below — we'll work with your association's admin to action the request.

Children's privacy

AMS is built for residents and staff of apartment associations and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Permissions the app requests

Permission	Why we ask for it
Camera	Only used when you choose to attach a photo — for a maintenance issue, a payment receipt, or your profile picture. Nothing is captured without you actively opening the camera.
Internet	Required to sign in and sync your association's data — the app cannot function offline.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of AMS after a change means you accept the updated policy.
